KEVAN D JESS

CSCO FIRE

Kevan D. Jess has worked in the public safety field since 1976.  He has been an active member of Canada’s fire, rescue, and emergency management community since 1982 providing senior leadership in national, provincial and community fire services operations and training. 

Kevan also served as Alberta’s Provincial Fire Commissioner and as Alberta’s Chief Fire Administrator since 2009.  Before this he served as Provincial Operations Director, Assistant Fire Commissioner and Regional Fire Services Advisor.  He also served as the Provincial Director of Flood Recovery.  He also directed the province-wide implementation of the Safety Codes Act as Co-Chair of the Safety Codes Implementation Team.
